EOC on Monday April 23!

'High-stakes tests develop a love of learning?'  Okay, maybe not.  But these EOC Exams do give you a chance to show off all the analytic and comprehension SKILLZ you have learned this year!  As this week is already high-stress, there will be no blog due this Friday.  Just do your best on the test!  After all, as Gandhi once said, "Satisfaction lies in the effort, not in the attainment; full effort is full victory."  If you read every passage and try your best, you are already a SUCCESS regardless of your score.  Words to live by!!  :)

  2. Peace doesn't ALWAYS require tests, thank goodness! At least modern schools care about your academic ability, not the color of your skin! Felt promisingly confident on this year's EOC. Thanks for the prep opportunities, Mrs. Snow! :)

  4. I really don't like testing. I get really impatient and don't really feel up to doing anything. I think its very tiring.

  6. i dont like to take tests because i think it is a waste of time. the tests show if you have learned anything. but the tests are something you have to do in school. i cant argue with the administration that makes me take tests so i take them.

    1. And studies show that multiple choice tests are not an effective measure of learning ... but the state requires them so I teach them (and spend way too much time teaching HOW to take them, but what are you gonna do?!)! LOL

  7. This blog is long over do, though i think it's ok considering we dont have to do a blog for this week. But i felt like it would bug me if i didnt and do all the other blogs instead. The EOC was hard, but having two hour in classes was a little fun.
