The month of April has blown in with bright sunshine, warmer temperatures, and a myriad of April Fool's Day follies!! The thrill of the end of winter is upon us, and many seem to have some extra energy to unleash upon the gullible. So in light of all that, what is the best April Fool you've ever experienced: a joke you've pulled or one you've fallen for? Did you see any good ones this year? How do you feel about practical jokes in general? Does it make a difference if you are the joker or the one getting duped? What do you think?
One thing kids like is to be tricked. For instance, I was going to take my little nephew to Disneyland, but instead I drove him to an old burned-out warehouse. "Oh, no," I said. The only Aprils Fool joke I can think of is the one my friends dad played on us before church. Last weekend I stayed at a friends house and we were getting ready for Sunday morning church. Her little sister came running in the room asking if we would rather go out to IHOP instead of church. We were so excited and ready to say yes. Then we heard those two words, April Fools!! We felt so gullible.
ReplyDeleteI honestly can say I dont or cant really remember and April Fool's jokes that have been pulled on me or that I have attempted to pull on other people. But for me I like to joke around a lot because I mean you always got look at the brighter side of life and if something is to serious to joke about then dont joke about it. But jokes about things can lighten someones mood and might just make their day and they wont be angry or craby anymore and you can go back and say I helped that person be happy today and I feel great about it. So, always look at the brighter and happier side of life thats the best thing to do. :))

The funniest joke I pulled was this year. I ran to my friend's house and banged on his door, when he opened it I said, "There's a masked maniac after you. Run!" but he did not believe me so I had another friend dress up like a chainsaw maniac and started up a chainsaw right outside his door. Well, I did not know that he was in the shower, but he still ran out his back door screaming his head off. (I cannot go into much more detail for obvious reasons, but let's just say, I saw a different side of him that I had not seen before.) There are two jokes that were pull on me that I did not thing was funny at the time but now I think is hilarious. The time that my friends put super glue on the toilet seat. Also one night my friends were sleeping over and when I fell asleep they shaved off every hair on my body. My mom was furious when she saw. Luckily it was the middle of summer. So I did not have to go to school like that. My opinion is that if you are stupid enough to fall for them then you really deserve them. But there are some jokes that just go too far. My motto is if there is blood or if someone gets arrested. Or if someone is emotionally distraught you have gone too far. It doesn't really matter if you are the joker or the one getting duped, if everyone can laugh at it and feels O.K. about it in the end.
ReplyDeleteOne of the best April fools jokes i have ever experienced was last year my mom and dad got a really beat up car from one of the friends and parked it in the drive way and told my sister that they got her a car and she went outside and as soon as she saw the car she started crying and was yelling saying she hated it and all this crap. About 10 minutes into the mental breakdown my parents said April fools and they took my sister around to the back of the house and there was her real car. It was the funniest thing ever i was laughing the whole time, but when i saw her real car i was a not so happy person!

Well personally I have never pulled an april fool joke on someone or gotten one pulled on me but I think they can be pretty funny. I think that practical joke are funny especially when its scaring people but Im not really a fan of being scared

I really can't recall any April Fools jokes that have been told upon me or any that I can think of that I made that was considered 'hilarious.' This year, I just made my sister look at something that wasn't really there (It was nine in the morning anyway). Wasn't that funny. At least I was in the spirit of joking!

Everyone knows that there aren't going to be 100 girls get pregnant in one day. I like practical jokes and I like to play pranks on people but I don't like to get jokes played on me.

Im not the best with prank pulled and no one has ever done an april fools prank on me, so i guess im "lucky?" But every year, since april is during track season, i would tell my coach that id be quitting track, and watch their reactions. I'd have to say the first time was pricless but the coaches catch on and just say, "haha, nice one! Sure you are..."

well i didnt pull an April fools joke on anyone this year and no one pulled on me.. i think that could be cause i forgot it was april 1st on sunday.but years past i would pull jokes and jokes will get pulled on me. i dont really care about the whole thing i think its just people making funn of other people cause they dont have anything better to do... i think the whole thing is just a joke.

This april fools day I personally didn't do any jokes. I went fishing with my boyfriend, twin sister, her boyfriend, and my dad. My boyfriend played a joke on me and had told me his recruter for the army called him and told him he's leaving between june 1st and june 5th. Yeah, I believed him! GRR! lol, but the best one i've ever experienced kinda, was when one of my older brothers were at a friends house, it was late at night and all sudden my mom gets a call from my brothers friend telling her that my brother and someone else went out four-wheeling like 2 hours ago and hadn't came back yet. My mom went into a complete panic mode and was about to leave the house to go "look" for my brother. Then my brothers friend told my mom it was an april fools joke. I thought it was histaricle*!! But then on facebook this girl put she was pregnant. I thought that was kinda funny and that'd be a good one to use towards my mom one of these days!(:

ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite pranks/jokes is to put a rubber band around the sprayer on the sink. When they turn the sink on, they aren't expecting it to come out of that! It is so fully to see their reaction! It does make quite a mess though...
There is one that has been pulled on me. My parents have this devil make. I didn't know anything about it. One time we were in the basement(we call is the mancave)where may dad keeps all his tools. I was talking to him and I turn around to tell my mom something. When I did all I saw is the red devil face with horns, yellow teeth, and a nasty goatee in the dark basement! I was sooo scared!
Now they like to put it on and wait outside the door for you to come out and run into them. This happened to me once walking out of the bathroom. Now every time I open the door I crack it first to see if one of my parents are there with that mask on. We laugh every time we think about it though. :)
Hahaha the sad thing is I hate opening the door to my bathroom i always think theres going to be somthing bad on the other side..... I've seen way to many movies.....

They only april fools day prank that I remember doing is we were eating at mcdonalds and when my brother went to the bathroom I lifted the lid off of his drink and I opened a ketchup packet and put the straw in the opened ketchup packet. Then I put the opened ketchup witht the straw back in the cup and I placed the lid back on. When he went to have a drink he only drank ketchup and he started freaking out

The only April Fools joke anyone has ever sone on me was last year. Me and my friends were jumping on the trampoline at night and my mom came out so i asked her to grab me a drink of water. When she came out with it i took a biiiigggg drink and turns out that it was lemon juice! It was the most sour thing i have ever had in my life and it tasted terrible! This year I didn't use any jokes or pranks because i worked but i di have one played on me. I got this random phone call saying my car had been jacked with and that the rims were gone. So i came running out of my work and nothing was wrong eith it then out of the corner of my eye were a group of people dying laughing. I'm never the one to come up with any good jokes. I am always the target. I am so gullible and believe anyone and anything someone tells me. The only joke that did get pulled on me this year was when my friends and I were getting ready for church. My dad asked us if we would rather go to Ihop or Church. I mean I love Church and all, but who doesnt like Ihop?! I got so excited, forgetting it was April Fools Day, I jumped up and down and screamed YES! My friends didn't react the same, but that didnt phase me untill after I ran out to go tell my sister, and my dad started laughing. I knew something was up and I said, "It's April Fools Day isn't it..." and he just started laughing even more. I walked back into my room bummed out and got dressed for Church. That did NOT make me very happy. I got over it pretty quickly though, so thats good! :)

ReplyDeleteI didn't really get a chance to pull a prank on somebody this year on April Fools' Day. I didn't get pranked, either. My dad did get pranked by my cousin, though. She told him his fly was down. It wasn't. I thought it was pretty funny, but it probably wasn't for my dad. Anyway, I'm sure a lot of people got pranked on that day, but that's the beauty of humor.

I really hav'nt ever pulled a prank on april fools day. Just little one like "you have a spider on your head". I think pranks are the best though.

She's on vacation right now so were watching her dog and she already knew that he ran away previously but I decided to try and trick her again and tell her that he dog ran away again she freaked out and I thought it was hilarious. But after I realized it was a kind of a mean joke haha but she took it well. But I'm not much of a prankster or anything.

April Fools jokes seem to have deteriorated over time. In the past, they were hilarious and creative. It seems that most people have lost that creative edge and have turned to unbelievable jokes that will fool only the dullest of people. One of my favorite jokes to this day has to be a million dollar check my father gave me when I was around 7 years old. I find it humorous that I fell for the joke but I was just a child, after all. Hopefully people will go back to the funny and believable pranks someday.

I don't remeber any of the jokes played on people, but I am sure I saw some good ones. A lot of people thought I was joking when I said it was my birthday. I had a good time though. It was awesome because there was no school that day and I just went to church then hung out with some friends for the rest of the evening.

The only person I pulled an April fools joke on was my girlfriend. I wrote her a note saying i was going to brake up with her, but it didn't work because she saw the back of the note first and it said I love you on it so she didn't buy it.

Girls they were eaither preagnant or moving. everyone is ussally pretty pradicktable on aprail fools. ussally I will do this whole out of the way thing to freal people out like have a cord that runs through your house that spills watter all over by a switch of a buttion. or your oil filter in your vhicial might mysteriously go missing. lol But my first prank that i've ever done is probly my favorite prank happened by mastake i just got lucky that the day was aprail fools day. I was really young than probly 6 or 7... I was over at my hepaws. He's actually my grandpa i just nammed him when i was younger. But anyways he was down the road or at the store and i had ran next door to borrow his salt... well he didnt have much and i needed it so i ussed the last bit in what i thought was left..... completly unawhere of the whole bag of salt right above my head i panicked not knowing what to put in my hepaws empty salt shaker.. i looked right next to me to see a bag of suger. suger looked like sault the shape size andcollor was all the same... i mean the only difference was the tast and at that time i thought that asent that bad of a difference.... so i had filled the salt shacker with suger... and that night my hepaw was eating spageghtee and each time he put the salt in his food instead of improving the tast the food just happened to get sweetier and sweetier. soon he finally unscrewed the salt shacker to find that it wasent salt he was puting on his food it was suger..... I have been pranking ever since lol

ReplyDeleteI love doing practical jokes on people even though the victim never likes it. I think that the whole fun in pranking people is seeing how mad they get at you and seeing there ticked-off reaction. I have done a lot of pranks but my favorite to do is the plastic wrap in the doorway prank. What you do is roll out a long piece of plastic wrap in the walkway of a door (right where their face will be) and watch them walk right into it without knowing what hit them. I love pulling pranks on people but i also don't mind being the pranked. I give more respect to people who can pull off a good prank on me, and i don't get hacked off at them because I understand how hard it can be to pull off a good one. Another easy prank to do is when you put a rubber band around the sprayer at the sink and watch someone spray themselves. You usually have to be pretty fast so that you can run away after doing that prank.

I dont know any jokes or pranks that happened. I never was really involved in april fools. It's just another day to me. All i remeber is the don't step on the crack or you'll break your mothers back, don't walk under a latter, tip the salt or use an umbrella inside. Silly stuff like that, thats not real. so really i dont have much to say. im sure i've done pranks and jokes before, i just don't remember right now.

We were too young to even know what April fools day was about. But they took us, making us believe it until we got to our house. We cried and were so sad. Now that I think about it, I thought it was funny. This April fools I didn't play any jokes on anybody, I wasn't really into it. Practical jokes are funny to me, either way. Depending on how far the person will go with it. Sometimes I don't like playing the joke though, only because I always feel bad afterwards.

Well I have never pulled a april fools trick. My mom was going to on my step sister saying that her mom called her and told her she had the baby. But then she thought about it and desided that would be kinda mean to do that. Because her mom is supost to have the baby any day now. I was working on april fools day and someone came in and said i would like a one of everything.(i work at mc.ds so thats alot of food). Then he was like april fools. In my head i was thank god he didnt order all of that food or he would have been waiting for awhile. I think some tricks are ok but you cant go to far with them or they there just two bad to say that trick.

Humor is an awesome emotion added to humanity. It releases stress puts a smile on that bland face makes a serious conversation a silly one. I'm glad we have are own day dedicated to it!!

I haven't had the chance to pull an April Fool's prank, but I've always wanted to. I am constantly looking through other people's pranks. I haven't been pranked, but I almost wish I had because that woudl be a very funny story to tell. There are quite a few pranks that I've come across that I would love to try. Like, go out and buy three turtles. Paint a 1 on one, a 2 on another, and a 4 on the third, and let them loose in a public place. People would be looking for 3 forever. :D Also, I saw this video where someone replaced his buddies sun screen with Miracle Whip.

I was working on April fools, and I was let out early, so I called my mom and I was gonna tell her that I'd have to close on a school night, so I could hear her reaction, but it failed. She didn't answer. So I tried my dads phone, and no reply. So I just decided to go home like normal... I usually treat April fools as just another day, so I usually don't pull pranks.
one of the funnyist pranks ive pulled is a prank phone call to one of my friends its a prank website that has a recording of a black guy that acuses you of talking to his girl and you can listen in of the conversation and watch one of your friends argue with a recording for however long they want to

I dont really remember April foold day from previous years but this years was by far the best. I was at a friends house in Springfield and it was somewhat of a party. There was 30 to 40 people there. After awhile (around 9 or 10 am) people started to fall asleep. My friend Kaleb did one of the things you should never do: passed out with his shoes on. As the night, well, morning progressed, he was drawn and written on by just about everyone with the exception of me and my friend Jess. We felt bad that he was covered in Sharpie because we were the ones who brought it to everyones attention that it was April first. So we got a big 3 gallon bucket, filled it with water, and dragged it into the living room. First, we emptied all his pockets and removed his hat. Then we had Brett and JJ carry him outside to the porch which was about a foot or two away from where he was sleeping. As soon as they set him down we threw all the water on him. He wasnt really mad cuz most of the obscene things drawn/written on him had washed off. Plus he knew it was technically his fault for passing out with his shoes on anyway.

The only April Fools joke i remeber doing was telling my sister that i got her concert titctes to justin biber and sayed i only had 2 ticties only she couldent have one . I allso mixed a bunch of food in with ice cream and had my step dad eat it and he did all of it . thats so discusting i told him he dident want to know what we put in it . lol:D

she sat me down and talked to me and said that it was fine that the baby was going to have everything it needed and that the baby was a blessing so she turned out to be excited:) but the jokes were on me because she really didnt fall for it. :(

I think the greatest (lamest) april fools joke that ive done is when my mom told me to come upstairs to give her a hand with something and i gave her a paper hand. it was pretty awesome. not really. but it was. ive never actually seen a good april fools joke or prank. i think the best that girls can come up with is "im pregnant", which is super annoying. but yeah, thats basically it.

I think practicaljokes are hilarious, as long as you dont go to far!ummm i think it depends on the personality of a person wether they are the one's tricking or being tricked.

I think jokes are a good part of life for everyone. It brings humor to everyone and can brigten ones day. The best joke ever pulled on me was a sink hole covered with leaves that was dug out in the yard. My dad did a scavenger hunt and put an Item in the middle of that area. AS everyone looked for these iteams I came across this one and fell thorugh landing in water. To me it was funny! SuperMan10 3rd

One time, I took my friends old Playstation and switched it with my broken one. I then took it and "accindently" dumped Hot Chocolate all over it. Lets just say I couldn't Play games for a month after words.

I think some of the best jokes are the one's were they fake your death with a homemade coffin. Also myself I hate being pranked or anything but I love to prank people i also love watching pranks there so awesome. And i love the show pranked I can watch it all day.
